Holger Speckmann is an engineer and senior expert in the field of NDT and SHM, who worked for Airbus from 1989 till 2014 in the field of structures & materials.
Speckmann has 10 years’ experience in the field of In-Service NDT and worked 20 years in the field of NDT in production and SHM. In this function he led national and international research projects and groups and owns several patents in that field.
Since Jan’2014 Speckmann is heading the Testia GmbH as Managing Director in Germany. Speckmann built up the company from one to 150 employees and positioned it in the field of training, inspection & engineering services and NDT product development & manufacturing. Today, Testia is one of the leading and most diversified companies in the world on all kinds of NDT business for Aerospace and other industries.
Holger Speckmann is the co-Founder of the SHM-AISC (Structural Health Monitoring – Aerospace Industry Steering Committee) and CAWG (Commercial Aviation Working Group) which includes worldwide OEM and partner (Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Bombardier, FAA, EASA, US-Air Force, NASA, etc.).
Speckmann is a member of the German SHM/NDT society inside the DGzfP, the British SHM group inside the BINDT and the A4A NDT Network.
