Emma Galarza currently works as a Senior Engineer in Delta Air Lines’ Technology Development Engineering group. Her responsibilities include leading innovation efforts regarding automated inspection and machine learning technologies. Emma started her career at Delta working on Damage Tolerance Analyses and Failure Investigations. She began research on drone programs for Delta TechOps in 2017. Prior to her return to Delta in 2023, she worked in Strategy and Operations at McMaster-Carr. She has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech. Emma is also a 107 licensed drone pilot.
