Lana Boler

AFS-320 Group Manager for the Airman and Special Programs Sections, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

Lana Boler is the AFS-320 Group Manager for the Airman and Special Programs Sections within the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Aircraft Maintenance Division. A certificated mechanic with more than 30 years of aviation maintenance experience and 19 years with the FAA, she has served in a variety of technical, operational and leadership roles supporting aviation safety, regulatory oversight and workforce development.

In her current role, Lana leads programs focused on airman certification, aviation maintenance oversight, special programs and strategic initiatives that support the continued advancement of the aviation maintenance community. Her maintenance background provides a practical perspective on the critical role of NDT in ensuring aircraft safety, structural integrity and regulatory compliance.

Lana’s contributions to aviation safety and organizational excellence have been recognized through several awards including an Excellence in Safety Team Award from the FAA’s Aviation Safety Organization (AVS) and the U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Award for successful implementation of the Compliance Philosophy initiative.
