Drake McGregor is the Senior Manager of Standards for the National Aerospace Standards (NAS) program at the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA). In this role, he reviews, edits, and publishes standards under the NAS’s purview, providing recommendations to AIA Committees on standard management (e.g. National Aerospace Standards Committee). He also acts as Executive Secretary of the AIA NDT Subcommittee, the custodian committee responsible for NAS410, NAS CERTIFICATION & QUALIFICATION OF NONDESTRUCTIVE TEST PERSONNEL.
Before joining AIA, McGregor worked as the Manager of Accreditation and Technical Programs at AIHA Laboratory Accreditation Programs, LLC (AIHA LAP), managing the enterprise’s five accreditation programs and spearheading business development opportunities to expand the company’s accreditation offerings. He led the development of AIHA LAP’s online data management system to accept, review, and approve accreditation applications digitally, and integrated other technical programs into the organization’s workflows to remove risks and automate manual processes and procedures.
McGregor holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the Pennsylvania State University and is a certified PMP®.
