David Bowen

Sr. Director of Workforce Development at Aviation Technical Services. A US Marine for 20 years, Dave has 30 years’ experience leading and supervising personnel. While in the military, Dave worked as a CH53 A/D/E and VH60-N Naval Air Crewman, NATOPS Instructor, QA Inspector, and Flight Line Mechanic. He was a Presidential Helicopter Crewman at HMX-1 from 1990-1994. Additionally he was a Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape (SERE) Instructor from 1987-1990. Dave joined ATS in 1997 as an Aircraft Mechanic, QC Inspector, QC Supervisor, and assumed the role of a Manager of Technical Training in 2005. In 2012, Dave served as a Maintenance Education Specialist on the Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee. He then accepted a role as Director of Aviation at Everett Community College, leading and managing the College’s FAA Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technician School. Before returning to ATS in 2015.
