Julieanne Heffernan is the program lead for resonance-based testing of aerospace landing system components at Vibrant. She holds her Level III in Process Compensated Resonance Testing (PCRT) and is responsible for the management, development and implementation of PCRT solutions for landing system components across multiple MRO’s, OEM’s and airlines around the world. Prior to her 12 years of experience with NDT for aircraft wheels and breaks, Julie worked for multiple years as a chemical, simulation and laser process engineer for Boeing. She received her BS and MS in Chemical and Materials Engineering at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
Julie was also a member of the winning team for the 2022 A4A Innovation Award for the devolvement, deployment and incorporation of PCRT for use on aircraft wheels at MRO service centers.
