John Hansen
Co-Founder, ETher NDE
John started his career in NDT in 1976 at the Unit Inspection Company a service inspection company, which at the time was part of the British Steel Corporation working in the Technical Department there on AUT, AE, ACPD, and EC. In 1984 wishing to use his first degree in Electronic Engineering more he joined the eddy current equipment manufacturer Hocking NDT in St Albans, UK. In January 2010 he co-founded ETher NDE a manufacturer of Eddy Current NDT Equipment, Probes and Accessories. John is a Honourary Fellow of the British Institute of NDT and Past President 2019-2020 John is also a member of ASNT North Atlantic Branch and the EN/BSi and ASTM groups for Eddy Current Standards. He has a MBA and is a Chartered Electrical Engineer with the UK Institution of Engineering Technology.
